Women Empowerment

With the help of a few BSU students, we are happy to announce our Women Empowerment Conference, Thursday Feb 27th, WINN-2:30pm, location TBA.

We have selected a unique panel of women from a variety of backgrounds and professions. These women were invited based on the powerful work they do right here in our communities.

Similar to our All Males Conference, we will be inviting any (female) students interested in attending to be dismissed from their 4th block prior to the event. I've learned from last event some teachers were unaware of who was in attendance during 4th block, so to help prevent this from happening we plan to have a sign-in process prior to and during event in order to get a better attendance. We may end up printing off tickets (to teachers) to be handed out day of allowing students access to this event.
