School Computers

All Deering High school students are provided with a Chromebook they are expected to keep in good working condition. This will enable them to access their school email, participate in online classes, and be part of Google Classrooms for all their classes. 

Parents should sign and return the Computer Use Agreement for each school year. 
 classroom All students are given access to the full Google suite while enrolled at Deering High School. Using their school ID, they can log in to classes online to view coursework, join video classes, create documents, and more. 

At the beginning of each semester, teachers will provide information to each student about how to join their Google classroom. 

Teachers can also use Google Classroom to email student guardians information about class activities.

Internet Needs

Students who do not have adequate internet at home may request a hotspot that will provide limited wifi connection. Ask for a hotspot at the main office, guidance office, or through one of the social workers.

Troubleshooting and Repair

Students having trouble with their computer, or with broken devices or chargers, should visit the student technology office during open computer repair hours. The technology office is located in the hallway outside of the library on the third floor. It is only open during the hours listed below. Students are not required to make an appointment.

Students who lose or damage their devices due to negligence will be charged a fee. The fee for a lost charger is $45 and the fee for a lost Chromebook is $225. Students are not required to pay the fee at the time of repair.

Infinite Campus

Infinite Campus

Using their school ID and password, students can log in to Infinite Campus and check their schedule, see grades, and keep track of their attendance.

There is also a mobile app available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store


Using this system, students can book learning center appointments with their teachers. 

Students should log in to WINN ME using their student ID and the first 3 letters of their school password.

    Students can log in to Naviance to manage the college and career process, including connecting with virtual college visits, managing applications and scholarships, requesting letters of recommendation, strengths assessments, and career planning.
