Deering High School's ninth-grade AP Human Geography classes joined forces with students and staff in the FLS and FA programs for a collaborative, week-long culinary expedition that combined cooking skills, a "Chopped" style dessert challenge, and the joy of building meaningful new friendships.

The Deering High School Science Olympiad team traveled to Los Angeles and won the prestigious National Spirit Award along with a $2,000 prize for their outstanding sportsmanship, character, and team integrity.
