Despite freezing temperatures, hundreds of students gathered in Auburn on the weekend of January 31, 2026, to participate in the prestigious District 2 Vocal Festival. Please join us in congratulating Ruby, Ramona, Bertie, Spencer, Adrianna, Theo, and Lydia (along with Blessing from Casco Bay High School) for their selection and their incredible vocal performances. As Hans Christian Andersen famously said, “Where words fail, music speaks,” and these students certainly spoke volumes through their talent and resilience. This milestone highlights their hard work and the strength of the vocal music program at Deering and Casco Bay High Schools.
