The Deering High School art department is incredibly proud to announce that the Portland Museum of Art has invited our students to showcase their work at the upcoming Youth Art Month Community Celebration! This annual exhibition, held in collaboration with the Maine Art Education Association, highlights the exceptional talent and creativity of young artists across the state. We invite our entire community to join us on Saturday, March 14th, to support our two featured artists: Maria N. from Mr. Chad Hart’s art class and Blake G. from Ms. Emily Serway’s ceramics class. The high school certificate ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Osher Auditorium, and we would love to see a strong Deering High presence there to celebrate their artistic vision.
