Earlier this spring, as soon as the sun emerged, Ms. Kathryn Hogan and Dr. Talya Davis brought their biology students into the field to explore the ponds and streams in our nearby parks. This outdoor excursion provided a wonderful opportunity for students to step outside the classroom, collect live samples, and directly apply the scientific skills they developed throughout the winter. Hands-on fieldwork like this brings science to life, showcasing the curiosity and practical skills that drive our STEM community at Deering.
