We're delighted to share that Deering High School's very own Michelle Matos Galva has been recognized by the Portland Press Herald as one of the '2025 Grads to Watch from southern Maine!' Michelle is not just a future physician and public health advocate; she's someone who has actively worked on national health policy research, provided invaluable support to immigrant women in Portland, and explored complex neuroscience through STEM research. Her journey will continue at Brown University, where she'll study neuroscience and public health.
