Dear Graduating Seniors and Families,

With spring arriving, we're excited to share key details regarding our 151st Graduation Ceremony. Please read the following information carefully:

Graduation Ceremony Details:

• Date: Thursday, June 5th, 2025
• Time: 11:00 a.m.

• Location: Merrill Auditorium, 20 Myrtle Street, Portland, Maine.

Tickets:

• Each graduating senior will receive ten (10) tickets in total.
  • Four (4) Reserved Seating Tickets: These tickets will be for assigned seats on the first floor.
  • Six (6) General Admission Tickets: These tickets will be for the Terrace and Grand Tier of the Auditorium.
• Mobility-Friendly Seating: If any of your guests require mobility-friendly seating, please complete this form: Link 
• Additional Tickets:

  • Please note that PortTIX or Merrill Auditorium do not have the graduation tickets. For those who require more than the allotted ten tickets, a Deering staff member will be at the Will-Call window (PortTIX window) in the Merrill Auditorium lobby on the day of graduation, June 5th, to distribute additional general admission tickets. These extra tickets will be available starting at 10:00 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • No extra tickets will be distributed before the day of graduation.

  • These additional tickets will be General Admission only.

Important Dates and Requirements:

• Friday, May 30th, Block 3 (First Graduation Practice):
  • Cap and gown distribution.
  • Payment for cap and gown: $30 (cash, check, or credit card).
  • Chromebook return.
  • Payment of any library fines.
• Tuesday, June 3rd, 9:00 a.m. (Final Graduation Practice):
  • Location: Merrill Auditorium.
  • Distribution of graduation tickets.
