What a night! Last Tuesday, we welcomed our new ninth graders and their families to the Deering High School campus. For those who joined us, it was an evening packed with fun and a head start on the school year. The night kicked off with a welcome in the auditorium before students met with their new advisors and got a tour of their classrooms. They picked up their schedules, met their school counselors, assistant principals, and many of their teachers and other staff members. To top it all off, everyone walked away with their laptops and some ice cream. If you weren't able to make it, don't worry—we'll do our best to catch you up so you don't miss a beat.
