Early this month, a productive engagement session was held in the Deering High School library, bringing together key members of the Portland Public Schools central office, School Board representatives, and Deering students. This collaborative meeting was structured as a community forum, intentionally designed to facilitate open dialogue. Students were empowered to serve as vital spokespersons, offering valuable insights and perspectives on their educational experiences at Deering.
