A big congratulations to our talented student musicians, guided by the leadership of our music teacher Ms. Abby Hutchins, for their stellar participation in numerous events this year! We are especially proud to highlight their achievements at the recent Maine Music Educators Association (MMEA) All-State Music Festival, a prestigious annual event held at the University of Maine in Orono. After rigorous fall auditions, DHS was impressively represented by Gus Groh (Orchestra), Anya Heiden (Orchestra), Danielle Santiago (Band), and Spencer Fieldroy (SATB Chorus). Their selection for this honors festival clearly demonstrates their persistent effort, musical excellence, and the impact of music!
