On the evening of Thursday, May 29, 2025, Deering High School celebrated the academic and athletic accomplishments of its senior class. The event served as a memorable occasion for the Class of 2025, where students were honored for their high school success. Throughout the ceremony, students were presented with a variety of honors, including financial scholarships to support their future endeavors, as well as gifts and certificates commemorating their outstanding achievements in both the classroom and in their respective athletic pursuits. The night was a culmination of their high school careers and a powerful reflection of the school's motto, "Learning Together, All One School."

Among the distinguished presenters was Senator Jill Duson, who awarded the Maine Legislature Certificate of Achievement to Asa Tussing and Violet Blum Levine. The ceremony also honored the top ten academic scholars of the graduating class, presented by Principal Dr. Jake Giessman. The students recognized for this prestigious honor were Asa Tussing, Violet Blum Levine, Mya Landry, Isabella Figdor, Sophia Harrod-Kim, Anja Machado, Eli Tuchinsky, Rose Bolduc, Maya Zager, and Anya Heiden. The evening concluded with refreshments, allowing students, families, and faculty to celebrate the many successes of the senior class together.
