Choosing where you will attend high school is a significant milestone and an important step in your educational journey. Because high school enrollment in Portland gives you the opportunity to choose the environment that best fits you rather than being assigned by neighborhood, visiting our campus is essential to making this big decision. We hope you and your loved ones will join us for an open house crafted entirely for you to explore our unique programs, academic pathways, and support services.

You are invited to tour the campus, walk up the historic brick steps, and wander the halls while you picture yourself stepping right into life as a future Deering Ram. During your visit, you will meet the principals, connect with teachers, check out classrooms, and discover how you can add your own chapter to Deering's long-standing tradition for the 2027–2028 school year. Bring your questions, dive into the energy of our school community, and check out more than 40 co-curricular clubs, dozens of athletic opportunities, and robust academic offerings.

Our doors will be open - Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
