Deering High School is the place to be if you're looking for a school that knows how to have fun! Ms. Heather Sawyer, our amazing science teacher, event coordinator, and student government advisor, brings so much energy and excitement to our school.

This year alone, she helped organize a fantastic spirit week, homecoming events, winter door decorating competition that brought out the holiday spirit in everyone, a fun-filled afternoon of games that had us all laughing, and an art walk for staff that showcased the incredible talent of our students.

Speaking of talent, a huge shout-out to our incredible art teachers, Ms. Emily Serway, Ms. Kathryn Carlisle, and Mr. Chad Hart, for inspiring our students.

Thanks to Ms. Sawyer and our awesome student government, Deering is a school where fun and learning go hand-in-hand.
