Some students fill their senior year with anticipation, looking forward to what comes next. Elizabeth Samuel, a senior at Deering, decided to build her future right now. She joined the Extended Learning Program with a clear goal in mind: to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.

This requires a compassionate spirit. Elizabeth rose to the challenge, gave of her time and energy to the rigorous coursework and hands-on training. She approached every lesson and every practice session with focus. 

We are so incredibly proud to announce that all of her hard work paid off. Elizabeth recently passed her CNA exam! This is more than just a passing grade; it's the beginning of a fulfilling career dedicated to helping others. We couldn't be more excited to celebrate this fantastic accomplishment with her.
