Deering students were lucky to meet Jen Wang, acclaimed author of many graphic novels, including Stargazing, which won the Asian American and Pacific Islander library award in 2020. At the author visit, Wang  discussed the process she uses to write and illustrate her books. Her new book Ash's Cabin was released about a month ago; the graphic novel explores a transgender teen's escape into the wilderness. Thanks to Print for sponsoring this event!
