RAM Block Plans 8:20 AM - 10:55 AM Each Day

9th & 10th Grades: Required METY / NWEA Testing

All 9th and 10th grade students will be taking required state Maine Through Year (METY) and NWEA testing during RAM Block:

• Tuesday, Sept 29: Reading
• Thursday, Oct 1: Math

Please ensure 9th and 10th graders arrive on time with a fully charged school Chromebook and charger cord. This is a required assessment, so please make every effort to attend school on these dates to avoid needing to be in makeup sessions.

11th Grade: PSAT Prep (Note Date Change for PSAT)

Juniors will be in extended RAM Block advisory sessions both days preparing for the PSAT. Please note that our PSAT test date has been moved to October 27th.

12th Grade: Senior Capstone

Seniors will be in extended RAM Block advisory sessions both days working on their Senior Capstone Proposals, which are a mandatory graduation requirement. Invited students will also be able to attend a Spring Ahead session on Thursday.

Thank you for your support in helping our students arrive prepared and on time. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Warmly,

Deering High School Administration
