Dear Parents and Guardians,

Happy New Year! We have enjoyed a wonderful Monday, kicking off the return to school with a school-wide assembly focused on re-establishing our Tier I behavior expectations.

As part of our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) framework, we believe in explicitly teaching expectations to ensure every student is set up for success. By clearly defining and practicing these behaviors now, we create a positive and predictable environment for the remainder of the school year.

We also want to extend a huge thank you to our amazing PTO for their generous donation to support our goal of having clear and high behavior expectations for all our students. These funds purchased student prizes for the week as we reteach and check for understanding across all grade levels. We encourage you to ask your student what "Minds On" and "All One School" mean to them. Additionally, this week ask them if they have completed an "exit ticket" to enter their name in our daily prize drawings!
