How to Enroll in Early College Courses:

Ready to jump in? Here's how to get started:

1. Get Informed: Read all the information and instructions on the University of Maine System Early College page. This page has everything you need to know about the program:

2. Create an ExplorEC Account: Sign up using your personal email address (not your school email)

3. Find Your Class: Browse the course catalog and find something that interests you. Make sure you meet any prerequisites! Need help? Check out the video tutorials:

4. Register and Get Approval: Once you've found your class, register for it and have your parent/guardian provide their consent online. Let your counselor know you've applied, too.

5. Check Your Email: Keep an eye on your personal email for instructions from the college.

Important Reminders:
  • You'll need to pay for any required textbooks.
  • Your grades in Early College courses will become part of your permanent college transcript.
  • If you have any questions or need help, talk to your guidance counselor! They're here to support you.
